Here are some information regarding the age :-

  • Age required for SSC CGL 2017 – As on August 1, 2017.
  • Date of Birth will be considered as recorded in the Matriculation / Secondary Examination Certificate only will be accepted by the Commission for determining the age.
  • Age Limit: Minimum:- 18   and  Maximum:-32

24 For Group “C” posts only. Widows/Divorced Women/Women judicially separated and who are not remarried(Unreserved/General) Up to 35 years of age
25 Widows/Divorced Women/Women judicially separated and who are not remarried(OBC) Up to 38 years of age
26 Widows/Divorced Women/Women judicially separated and who are not remarried(SC/ST) Up to 40 years of age
27 Defence Personnel disabled in operation during hostilities with any foreign country or in a disturbed area and released as a consequence thereof.( Unreserved/General) 5 years
28 Defence Personnel disabled in operation during hostilities with any foreign country or in a disturbed area and released as a consequence thereof.( OBC) 8(5+3) years

Educational Qualification for SSC CGL 2017:

Assistant Audit Officer:

  • Essential Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute
  • Desirable Qualifications: Chartered Accountant or cost & Management Accountant or Company Secretary or Masters in Commerce or Masters in Business Studies or Masters in Business Administration (Finance) or Masters in Business Economics.

Statistical Investigator Grade – II:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute with at least 60% in Mathematics at 12th standard level orBachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level

Compiler: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University with Economics or Statistics or Mathematics as compulsory or Elective subject

All other Posts: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.

Computer Proficiency Test is also as an Essential Qualification for posts of Assistant Section Officer (CSS).
